April - Getting away. Headed toward Nauvoo.
Yesterday it was 74 degrees! Chris took Friday off and we decided go away from the city where it's dark to look for Halley's Comet. We got up at 4:30 to see it, which we did but it wasn't impressive...had to use binoculars and then it was just a blur.

June - Idaho
Had such a wonderful time in Rexburg & being with family. Ah, breath fresh air, drink clean water, see the stars at night and blue sky in the day. We went swimming at Green Canyon, boating at Quail Lake, picnic & playground at Tautfas Park & zoo, Island park & hatchery, Warm River.
Also Chris fished alot (and alone). We went to Sun Valley for Chris to fish - oh it's so beautiful! Red Fish Lake is spectacular. We rode horses at Dallings.
Chris had a business trip to LA while we were on vacation. He visited Aunt Tude and she gave him his sword. (His great grandfather's civil war sword)
Before going home Aunt Vicki gave Sharilyn and Emily a perm
and do they look adorable! They think Em looks like Shirley Temple.

We were getting ready to go home and as we were leaving Grandma Clarkes Jennifer was so sad and had big tears rolling down her cheeks. Grandma gave her a tissue to wipe the tears from her eyes then asked Sharilyn if she wanted one too. Shar was not a bit emotional and just said matter of factly "No, I don't have any boogers in my nose."
