1987 Germany business trip

 May

Chris talked me into coming with him this time on his business trip to Germany and it's been a delightful time.  (We had to miss our LaBoheme opera that we've had tickets to since November). Mom Clarke came too and it was so nice to have her company while Chris was in meetings.  I love the charming towns with painted motifs around the windows and scenes painted on the buildings.  I love the castles with it's yards and gardens.  Things are so ornate and fancy.  The drinking halls are full of music with accordions and people singing! I love the real shutters on windows that actually open and close.  I love the flower boxes and pretty tudor.   I love the feather comforters and pillows hanging out the windows to get fresh air.  People really dress in dirndls and knickers.
