Life and adventures of The Chris & Debbie King Family

I was driving down the road one day wishing that life could be simpler.  Simplicity is such a great thing.  As I wished away, words came into my mind that said "charity is allowing your life to become complicated".

I once read something that said "Memory is the power to gather roses in winter." I guess if that is so, then today we have the power to grow roses for tomorrows winters. I've loved making this timeline; a gathering of roses from the past that still bring a smile to my face.

I wish mama's could hire a house keeper, a cook and an errand boy or just stop the world for awhile to hold, care for and play with their little ones...

Children are so full of creativity and imagination.  Play becomes a mind and whole body exercise.  Life becomes an exploration of new creations, new places, new ideas and adventures.  Some things we learn from children is 1) singing at the top of your lungs can fix about anything, as can laughing until the tears run down your face. 2) The simplest things in life bring such pleasure like skipping, playing in a pile of leaves, listening to frogs sing at night or feeling a cat purring on your lap.  Children can dance around a room with all their heart and enjoy the fact that someone is watching.  Children believe you and they believe in you.  They aren't shy about showing love or enthusiasm.

This King Family Timeline has attempted to capture the wonder of life as it moves along and changes and as we applaud each child's greatness.

Here is a small drop in our bucket of life's experiences with some photos and a few journal selections.
